There seems to be a lot going on in the art scene in Berlin at the moment. A report is circulating in the media that a 37-year-old employee of a forwarding company has stolen works from a collector and tried to sell them at auction.
Unfortunately, no name is mentioned in this report, so that basically any forwarding agent who deals with art, possibly only stores art and is based in Schöneberg, can be meant. To reassure our customers, we would simply like to make a statement that we are not meant. I find it extremely regrettable for the entrepreneur concerned that he has placed his trust in such an employee and that he has been affected in this way.
I wish the collector and entrepreneur concerned that the matter will be cleared up as quickly as possible and that all the works will be found.
