Qualifications / requirements
- Completed training as a forwarding agent (previous knowledge of the art industry not required)
- Good knowledge of customs clearance
- Knowledge in the use of common customs software (e.g. DBH, Kewill etc.)
- Quick comprehension
- The ability to work to deadlines
- Spatial understanding
- English skills confident in spoken & written
- Good MS Office knowledge

YOU
- control all incoming goods in the art area and ensure that the art is moved to the storage area
- record incoming goods with our warehouse management system
- picks various art objects according to the pick-up list to complete deliveries
- write packing and delivery notes
- control outgoing goods to forwarding agents and customers
- do inventory work with your team
- learn how to handle soft packaging for art
- learn how to pack in transport boxes
- help with loading the art trucks
Your profile
- You already have experience with at least one warehouse management program
- You are familiar with logistics processes
- You have a forklift license (desirable)
- You are skilled in manual work (desirable)
- You work neatly, are reliable and punctual
- You have a good rapport with customers
- Your German language skills are very good
- Basic knowledge of English

Do you already have experience as a driver and also have manual skills?
OR
You are a craftsman and also have a truck (C1/CE) driver’s license, then join our team as an installer and driver at ARTSECO GmbH and learn how to handle sensitive goods at home and abroad.
ARTSECO is a young Berlin-based company in the field of art forwarding.
We are perfectionists who know how to move art. We are based right at the heart of the Berlin art scene.
There we offer our all-round service for galleries, art associations, artists and collectors – for everyone who appreciates art as much as we do.
We have a lot of experience in transporting, packing, installing and storing art.
Your tasks
- You drive national and international art transports in 2-driver operation
- You are active in the city for collections from galleries, artists and collectors
- You pack sensitive and high-quality goods for transportation
- They install art exhibitions and sculptures
- Securing the cargo
- You fly to international art fairs in the USA and Asia, among other places, to install at the fair
- You communicate with customers and our dispatchers
- You load and unload art objects on our art vehicles
- You install wall installations in row and block hanging
- You pack art according to the requirements of the condition
- They construct transport frames or “shadow frames” made of armored cardboard
- They occasionally transport art overland in Germany and Europe
Your profile
- Professional skills
- Completed vocational training in a trade would be desirable
- all manual skills are trained with our team (manual dexterity is desirable)
- Professional driver qualification available
- Driver’s license C (necessary), CE desirable
- General skills:
- good oral knowledge of German
- customer-oriented appearance
- English language skills desirable
