Arco Madrid: 15.02. – 02.03.2017
As always, after the long winter months, it is a pleasure to set foot on European trade fair soil again. Arco on the IFEMA grounds in the city once again offered us a spectacular start to the trade fair season. Our men Ronny, Jörg, Manuel, Rene and Olli spared no effort to show off with 1x articulated truck and 7.5to vehicle. As always, the assembly/disassembly was exhausting, but we were able to present everything to the customer’s satisfaction. Last but not least, and precisely for this reason, special praise is due at this point to all those involved, above all our 4 Art handlers. Super job!
In addition to some very strange-looking works of art, there were also a few delicacies, as the photos show. We should also mention the city tour in wonderful weather with an outside temperature of 18 degrees.
This year’s Arco focused entirely on the guest country Argentina. Their artists use this fair as a springboard to Europe – not only because of the language barriers in the other countries, but also because of the shared history of these nations. In Argentina itself, art is not as highly valued as in other countries. This means that the opportunities for industry owners there are very limited. Arco offers a powerful starting point that will hopefully lead to success. All in all, for me this fair is one of the most beautiful European art locations. Deliveries and loading are simply ideal here and the area is large and clearly laid out.
